It sounds like it could have been anyone who crashed the server but you happened to be the lucky one. Taking accountability, learning from your mishaps and looking forward is the best thing you can do. Without mistakes you don't learn. Perhaps next time you are thinking about going off script, consult another team member. Although in this case, I don't think they would have known either that this would have happened.
