For me: Settings Sync
BTW what gonna sync if can only have one?
Settings sync lol
Prettier. Having to not remove spacing and fix my code when I indent to far is a huge timesaver.
And no more fights on merge due differences between developers.
Great point!
I already walked through this hell
I'll cheat on that one and take Vs Code VIM Not for being a fanboy, but if there is only one slot, VIM keybindings and functionalities will make it work like if you have several extensions
That is definitely what I would pick. Since I recently learned VIM keybindings, I can't live without them.
for work: gitlens
Because some strange code is come from client request, but undocumented, need to find out who write that and document that
Sorry of my English
Too often I find that I'm the one who wrote the code... π€¦ββοΈ
No problem bro, we are here to learn, even English like me. Keep practicing.
I tried Git Lens but have a lot options, that why I use git-blame but as @ryaninvents says I see my user involved many times LOL
I'd create a pack extension of all the extensions I need and install that. You might call that cheating, but see how much I care :)
"I would wish for more wishes"
And how can I do that? π

Thanks... now I can make real my Halloween spell.
The theme: One Dark Pro
Be careful. Ghosts likes live in dark places!
Happy Haloween!
For me would be the theme generator which I can't remember the name as of right now, but it's pretty cool and I no longer need to spend any more time looking for themes on the internet when I get bored of the current one.
vim π
Settings Sync for me too. Here's my full list for those interested.
My Visual Studio Code Setup
Nick Taylor
I had to check which ones were actually extensions. VSCode is great with adding features.
That said, it would have to be PHP Debug -- How can I work at all without remote debugging?
Oh man I have no idea, hope someone that develop with PHP can help you with that.
Pastel Pixels ;)
Without hesitation, prettier. I couldn't live without that extension. π±
Prettier.
And a //@ts-check on the top of my files.
This comment line is what for?
Atom Keymap, because since I moved from Atom about two years ago, I've been to lazy to learn VS Code's shortcuts.
It happens same to me, but some day I decided learn VSCode shortcuts and now I love it because each update comes with new shortcuts that are late adopted by keymap extensions.
Just yesterday β+K β+Q is for go to last edited location.
I used to install this one :p
Procrastination Kit For Visual Studio
I will go for my Settings Sync extension :)
Thanks for your work on this extension, really it's awesome!
Nice to see you here on dev.to
Old habits die hard.
This one doesn't exist yet, but the ability to start a VS Code session via Slack would be nice ;).
Good idea!
I discovered this extension last week. Top 1 if you gonna work with Vue.
El Chapulin lmao π, hadn't heard that in a while. I think as a python dev, indent rainbow is the one.
