Prettier. Having to not remove spacing and fix my code when I indent to far is a huge timesaver.

And no more fights on merge due differences between developers.

I'll cheat on that one and take Vs Code VIM Not for being a fanboy, but if there is only one slot, VIM keybindings and functionalities will make it work like if you have several extensions

That is definitely what I would pick. Since I recently learned VIM keybindings, I can't live without them.

Because some strange code is come from client request, but undocumented, need to find out who write that and document that

I tried Git Lens but have a lot options, that why I use git-blame but as @ryaninvents says I see my user involved many times LOL

I'd create a pack extension of all the extensions I need and install that. You might call that cheating, but see how much I care :)

For me would be the theme generator which I can't remember the name as of right now, but it's pretty cool and I no longer need to spend any more time looking for themes on the internet when I get bored of the current one.

I had to check which ones were actually extensions. VSCode is great with adding features.

That said, it would have to be PHP Debug -- How can I work at all without remote debugging?

Oh man I have no idea, hope someone that develop with PHP can help you with that.

Atom Keymap, because since I moved from Atom about two years ago, I've been to lazy to learn VS Code's shortcuts.

Collapse

equiman profile image
Camilo Martinez

It happens same to me, but some day I decided learn VSCode shortcuts and now I love it because each update comes with new shortcuts that are late adopted by keymap extensions.

Just yesterday ⌘+K ⌘+Q is for go to last edited location.
