- Saturday : Pretty chill day. Got up to finish prepping for the radio show. When that was over, I did some work for the Sunday show. Then we did the radio show. Had a great time as usual. The recording of this week's show is at https://kNOwBETTERHIPHOP.com
Sunday : Did the third week of the live online study group. I had some stories prepared so I got to actually work on some stuff. I finished all the post radio show promo work. Did my laundry. Added tutorials to the study group site. Before the show, I added a new feature that created the thumbnail of the recently finished live stream and added it to the video archive page. For the first cypher, the thumbnails generated were coming back blank. Between the cyphers, I did a fix and the following thumbnails came out fine. Super happy about it! You can check it out at https://untilit.works/videos. Oh and my microphone didn't go out at all. Awesome! This week's show went better than I could imagine. Plus, I sold a shirt!! After the cyphers, I watched "Black Widow", "Kevin Can F Himself" and "Rick and Morty".
Professional : Started the day off with a couple of meetings. Then I spent the rest of the day working on a demo. I did as much as I could because being blocked in that stupid social network stops me from going any further. I'll be pair programming with a product manager tomorrow so hopefully I can get the social network integration working. I think I have it to the point where there are just a couple of more steps to finish.
Personal : Ever since starting the live shows on Sunday, it feels good to have a set amount of time where I'll put in work and then I could relax outside of that time. Previously, I would pretty much work on something all day.
An overall goal for this week is to a new feature to https://untilit.works where I can automatically generate notes for the recorded videos. There's an API I'll be playing with. I'll probably create a quick demo project so I can play with the API and see what data I can get back so I can figure out how to implement it into the site. I want to take some time out to watch anime again, so I'll probably do that while eating dinner. Trying to fit in time for other activities that aren't programming related. I want to catch up on "Fire Force". Think that's it.
