Hello everyone! I'm Bill. I am completely new to it all. I only been working on html, css, and JavasScript a little over a month now mainly on freeCodeCamp. I am finally going to attempt my first personal GitHub project. (An ESL Web browser game). Today I discovered Emmet and fell in love with it. Anyways, I am here to learn, collaborate if people are willing, and understanding of my limiting skills at the moment. I welcome any suggestions, and all feedback today and in the future. Thank you for your time, and for this wonderful community.

Ahoy!

Decided a few weeks ago to resume my technical writing, as a way to give something back to the amazing communities that live on the World Wide Web.

I'm a DevOps Engineer with several years of experience on my back. I'm a loving father, a caring husband and a huge Star Wars fan.

Here is my very first post, feel free to check it out and leave as many comments as you want.

May the force be with you!

Hello there and welcome. I've just finished reading this article now and will be definitely keeping an eye on these as I'm interested in DevOps as a whole.

I definitely have a lot to learn though but this series looks super helpful, thanks for the post

Neat read! I've always struggled with implementation and best practices (in both professional and personal projects). My workspace is a sea of chaos and my pipelines are non-existent. This was a good reminder that it doesn't have to be that way.

It definitely doesn’t xD, but it takes time. And it’s totally worth it BTW.

Hope my work will help you at least a bit on getting that sorted out. Best of luck!

Now thinking to learn flutter.
Any advice?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Ivan,
If you're going to start with flutter I strongly recommend you to review how git submodules work before starting a new project :D

You're probably gonna be using those to get flutter updated on your repo.

Good luck!

Hai everyone,I am Saranya. I restarted my career after 10 years career gap. Now in my present company, I have been working for 7 months. Sometimes I would get demotivated because of very low pay and there I had to work in many technologies. So why I am here because I want to learn more and improve my professional life.

Dylan Garrett

New here. I've been a passionate Python dev (self-taught) since 2019. I can confidently call my level of experience with the language to be somewhere between an adept and an expert. I try to use programming in every area of life where it might be helpful (or usually, just interesting / fun).
I tend to suffer crippling imposter syndrome, and I feel as developers, some of us can over isolate in a field that can credit its success to collaboration. This seems like a good place to work on that.

In no particular order, here's what I got going on:

  • dozens of unfinished Django projects ( t's a good framework)
  • Web3 has been getting pretty interesting, recently worked on a Django backend for a Web3 D'app
  • Definitely not a data scientist, but as a musician I thoroughly enjoy tinkering with .wav and using Numpy to do cool stuff with noise
  • Trying to get good with the Textual, if you're in love with your terminal window as much as I, check it out
  • Speaking of terminals, I've also been playing around with the Evennia MUD framework as well, I'd love to take part in a MUD project using this.

This barely scratches the surface of all the stuff I'm into.

Hopefully I find some likeminded homies out here!

Welcome to Dev To and I totally agree on collaboration being important in bringing folks together in programming and tech.

Making music with wav files sounds really fun. I'd be really interested to see how Numpy works to do this.

Hello dear Dev community. As the title say I'm a guy who wants to learn, I'm willing to learn as someones helper. For sure I'm able to help a lot in your projects for example some boring and repetetive things :) in exchange for some experience.

I am a junior but I can help a lot :) I know exactly where I have difficulties and I hope that those things are not so much complicated, I have a wish that someone help me and explain me those shortcomings.

If there is someone who is willing to help me I'll be opened for any advice, for sure he will be able to determine my level as a developer so he can give me some directions etc.

I know that this is huge and I am thankful in advance :)
