Wasn't even interested in this (because recommendation lists are everywhere) but then you come with the sweet sweet data.
Got hooked on the second paragraph where you show how many lists you sorted to come to your conclusions.
I'm already imagining a bot that searches for lists automatically, rank and post in a web app.

I think it's okay the way it is because you do the clarification right on the start.
Even sent to a friend who likes ventures to read. Said to him "Read the first two paragraphs, if it doesn't hook you I'll pay you a beer".
