Here is a little evolution for my map level editor but maybe a bigger for the user.
You can now generate the whole map without painting it, and then dig/elevate the terrain.
- "f": generate the map
- "click": elevate terrain, you can hold the button to paint
- "shift+click": dig terrain
- "space+mouse move": pan the map
