I got hooked, too, because you choose to include Payload 😀 I happened to try Payload a few weeks back, and I gotta say: I loved it!
I integrated it into a traditional Express SSR application (with a template engine), and after setting up a Mongo DB instance locally, it really was just "plug n play"
I can only encourage everyone to give PayloadCMS a shot!
