I'm a co-founder of Payload and I'm super pumped that you're giving us a shot. What you've said is accurate - it can be risky to give the new product a run, but I am confident that you'll love our developer experience.
We're around and willing to help as you implement. Seriously - any questions, jump in Discord or GitHub Discussions and we'll get you answers!
I got hooked, too, because you choose to include Payload π I happened to try Payload a few weeks back, and I gotta say: I loved it!
I integrated it into a traditional Express SSR application (with a template engine), and after setting up a Mongo DB instance locally, it really was just "plug n play"
I can only encourage everyone to give PayloadCMS a shot!
I write about various topics that I'm currently learning, be it front end, back end, cloud, DevOps, etc., you name it!
For any questions you may have, you can reach out to me at: hello@hungvu.tech.
I actually came across this hidden gem when searching through some Reddit discussion. Payload looks very promising to me, and surely there will be more follow-up articles down the road as I learn more about Payload technical aspects! π
By the way, the introduction series on YouTube is great. Considering there are not many demonstrations of Payload usage out there, the videos did help me a bunch in making final decision. Please keep it up! @jmikrut

This is an amazing write-up!
