Work and Study Routine

I have been working and studying ever since I was 17. My routine has changed many times along these years, but in essence some things remain the same.

I wanted to share in general lines the overall idea of what my routine looks like and how I keep track of it.

  • Telegram group you can write how you want your day to be, and how it actually went. It's easy to change things so you do not need a physical planner or to open any special apps, a messaging app works quickly.

  • A physical productivity planner you write down the primary, secondary and nice to have tasks for the week.

  • A project management or a notepad tool such as trello or notion.

What's most important is that you find something that works for you, one small change at a time and see how you react to it. If you know for instance your body doesn't work at time xx:xx maybe that's a good time to set a relaxation time.

Priority can change quite often, that is why I set the intention for the week and each day I write what went accordingly and what could be changed. Without judgment. A journey of self discovery.

In General lines what my routine can look like
07:00 - Morning rituals: Brush your hair & teeth, Wash your face, etc
07:15 - Calligraphy - Anything fun that actually gives you motivation to get out of bed as first activity
07:25 - Exercise, Shower, Meditate, Breakfast
08:30 - Watch a TV series episode/ Study a byte sized lesson/ Read tech blogs/ Watch something fun on youtube/ Do some Karaoke
09:00 - 17:30 - Work hours
12:00 - Prepare and eat Lunch & Call someone you care about/ take a nap
18:00 - Community Event/ Respond messages and emails
19:00 - Dinner & Call someone you care about/ Sweep the Floor, Wash clothes, Do some house chore.
20:30 - Study/ Work on a side project/ Learn something/ Create content/ Do nothing at all
23:00 - Wind down to sleep, bring a book/ kindle to bed, Aromatherapy until falling asleep.

Maybe you're an early bird or a night owl, just see what works best for you trying to incorporate the daily elements that would help you reach a goal in the long run.
