What are your specialties??

I make a pretty amazing barboukh. It's a north-african jewish specialty traditionally cooked for Passover. It's made from steamed flatbread crumbles, a lot of olive oil, and many spices.

Also I guess I'm pretty good at Ruby & TDD.

CSS, I just love working with it. Even though I’m more of a backend dev, CSS is easily my favourite thing to work with.
I’m also currently working on an open source SCSS design system, but I feel a bit sad because I think I’m not putting enough time into it.
And if you can call doing something a lot a specialty, add procrastination to the list as well😅😜

Race conditions: Seems like most developers don't pay a lot of attention to this class of problems and I find and fix them all over the place.

Databases: I'm not a pro but somehow I always become the database guru on dev teams. Using databases well (in high concurrency environments) requires understanding (again) race conditions well, and I've also invested more time into learning SQL than most devs around me.

Git: Again, not a pro, but have learned enough to usually be the best at it among non-pros. Am comfortable with rebasing and force pushing and often help when people have messed something up, like when they make mistakes while merging.

thanks for the question, I like making realtime interactive applications with websockets and reactive databases(such as mongodb watch command).

A second would be private or consortium blockchains for big business.

I can't call these as my specialities but I am currently aiming at becoming one of the best players in

• C++ and OpenGL(and possibly Vulkan)
• Graphics Theory
• Unreal Engine and Unity

Surely, there is no end of the day when I can say like "I'm a specialist in one of these", but I will keep try and try to make masterpieces.

I love working with RTEs(Rich Text Editors) like Tiptap(tiptap.dev/) and Lexical(lexical.dev/). I've developed several projects for/with Tiptap and evan landed a couple of gigs where I worked on their RTEs. Overall very interesting topic for me!

I can procrastinate like an absolute PRO 😌

I'm pretty good with Ruby and SQL; I'm also above average at debugging.

I can code ~5hr without touching mouse.

googling stuff and surviving totally unrelated obscure assignments at work on various technologies at different levels of the full stack developer technical stack (routing, caching, business logic, cloud integration, etc.)

I cant say it's always pleasant but I wouldn't change that because I learn so much stuff :)

I think I'm good at video/image streaming/editing.
I also like dabbling in real time video filters etc. 😆

Flask. It's one of the things I actually like coding with.
MongoDB, it's the only database I use lmao.

I'm also quite good at refactoring and getting into new codebases
