I've Got Good and Bad News

Current Update

So, I was working on my 5th technical article, trying to render my Vlog Day 1 video as well as continue working on some hackathons and I'm currently participating in...

Well, the unexpected happened... Who knows, maybe for good reason...

Bad News

My former laptop started smoking and went off. It showed signs of overheating over the weekend as well as Monday... So, yeah... Everything's automatically on hold for the time being...

Good News

Well, I'm hopeful for a new, bigger, better and more powerful laptop soon enough, although the funds to afford it is not available at the moment.

Few Thoughts

I was gifted my former laptop (check the cover image) in September 2018 and I've pushed it to and beyond its limits in the last 5 years... I guess it couldn't handle Mobile and Web app development, Blockchain development, UI/UX Design and video rendering any more. In this time, I've upgraded it to the maximum amount of RAM the motherboard can support (2 pieces of 4GB RAM shared across 2 DDR3 slots) as well as SATA3 500GB HDD.

I'm currently typing this article with my mobile deviceπŸ˜…πŸ™ƒ.

Next Steps

So, I'm not sure what happens next but I'm optimistic about what the future holds in store for me.

Conclusion

So, this is where I should bring this article to an end...

Cheers! πŸ₯‚❀️

That's rough man, if funds are an issue buy one with decent hardware but has an HDD and buy a SSD and swap it. I've noticed a lot of computer companies will have the same laptop with an SSD for almost $200 more than ones with HDD. The hardware is usually about the same but you can get an HP SSD for around $30 off Amazon.

Something to check in on, maybe, at least.

Best of luck!

Oh, man! I'm so sorry to hear about your laptop breaking. But I'm glad to hear that you're optimistic about the future.
Best of luck with everything!
