This is random, and if any mods see this, do not remove the tags, they are indeed relevant (you will see this in the forem/forem repo later).
I require at least one person to react to this, and at least one person to leave a comment, to test something related to the notification menu.

I have discovered an interesting quirk with dev.to/notifications on Firefox.
