AMA & AllThingsOpen: Let's Talk Mobile Dev!

THREE THINGS YOU CAN DO:

About AllThingsOpen

It's been just over a year since the All Things Open conference in 2020. And I remember it well.

It was my first time attending what was billed as the largest open-source conference on the East Coast. And I was not disappointed. It was a unique combination of community and open source practitioners, coupled with a breadth of technology learning and development topics that spanned hands-on workshops to professional development skills.

I was there supporting the Microsoft Developer Audience team, as a member of the Developer Relations team. Fast forward a year and a lot has changed. The conference is going virtual for the first time in its history. And I have three exciting things to announce along with this:

Talk: Dual Screens & Mobile Development

Yes, I am giving my first AllThingsOpen talk today and it is on a topic that has been top of mind for me these past few weeks.

This is the last talk in a back-to-back series of events and I am hoping to get time right after to finally publish my slides and notes from all these events in one comprehensive post. Keep an eye out for that or just follow this topic tag!

The Microsoft Surface Duo is a dual-screen Android-based mobile device with built-in support for M365 apps and a unique 360-degree hinge that enables multi-posture usage. Develop apps using native Android, multi-platform or mobile web. https://aka.ms/sdd-dual-screen

AMA: Visual Storytelling to Dev Advocacy

Right after my talk, I'll be heading over to the virtual Microsoft booth at the event, and joining our amazing team in an AMA session. Want to join us? Just join the online event that is being hosted by multiple Microsoft Reactor communities

This is an informal session so ask me anything you want to know about mobile development, developer advocacy, visual storytelling, self-care and community building, and more. It's a chance to connect and chat in this time of social distancing!

Cloud Skills & Social Justice Hacks!

While you're there don't forget to stop by the Microsoft virtual booth and meet our amazing developer audience team and community ambassadors to talk about all things Azure, Power Platform, M365 and Open Source!

Then check back here at the end of the day for resources including slides and a link to the recording (when it becomes available).

AllThingsOpen is free to attend this year - and registration is still open. Hope to see you there!
