Today, which is the 11th of February, is according to the United Nations General Assembly the International Day of Women and Girls in Science and technology, or Women in STEM for short! So I thought what better way to celebrate, but to showcase some of my favourite videos from YouTubes amazing women, or people who relate to as such.
On a serious note, The International Day of Women and Girls in Science is implemented by UNESCO and UN Women, in collaboration with intergovernmental agencies and institutions, as well as civil society partners, that aim to promote women and girls in science. The days purpose is to promote full and equal access to participation in science for women and girls, an area where we are currently lacking, so let's change that!
