I think the wireless connectivity is definitely worth noting - for the moment - there are likely to be future versions that add that, if the Zero/Zero W are anything to go by (and I strongly suspect a third party will get there first, using the RP2040). I certainly have a lot of ESP8266 and ESP32 devices as well, and get a lot of value from these, but the ecosystem that is already being built around the RP2040 makes it interesting for me to learn.
