Adding insult to the injury, instead of apologizing for wasting your time, putting the pressure of urgency on you, jeopardizing your paid subscriptions, not to mention legal risks, basically "you are on your own", they want to be congratulated for their courage to take a "hard decision".
Elon Musk basically treats content creators like he treats his employees : super badly.
Lesson learned: never trust Twitter as a content creator.

I got this mail too. Luckily, I don't have any subscriber on revue. I used revue only to enable subscribing to my blog through Twitter (thanks to Zapier it was very easy).
I run my own Ghost blog that has inbuilt subscriptions with a Stripe connection. So I am safe and will never have to think about this problem.
For sending my Newsletter I use Mailgun because it can be easily added to Ghost. Also, Mailgun has a Flex plan where I am allowed to send 1000 mails for free every month.
That is enough to send 3 posts per month to my subscribers. And if I reach the limit it only costs 1$ per 1000 mails.

I was also wondering about that. Substack seems like a more proper alternative to Revue than Mailchimp.
It's on the list now I have not used it so I did not know much about it.

I haven't tried either of them but I have heard of them. It's nice to know that we have options.
