How I received my first AWS Cert in < 24 Hours

Study Timeline (5-8 hours)

I started by digging right in to the AWS Architect Learning Path on A Cloud Guru.

I watched the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C01) video
at 1.75x - 2.0x speed on A Cloud Guru. After that, it was time to try a practice test!

Practice Test (~45 min/ea)

Feeling semi-confident, I took a Practice Test on Whizlabs for the cert.

• First attempt was a 75.38% - Not as confident as I thought I was. -- I noted which domains I needed to focus on and re-watched those sections while taking notes using Notion
• Second attempt was 87.68% -- After that, I felt I was comfortable enough to take the exam.

Exam (90 min)

I took the exam online and in the comfort of my home using the online proctored version of Pearson Vue.

PASS - What's Next?

Yup. Then I passed. So what's next? I then went on to study for the next exam -- the AWS Certified Solutions Architect -- Associate which I also passed a few days later.
