Google smiled on me and made it rain views I’m stunned that so many people saw my post and even found it useful, I wasn’t even trying, in fact some of my genuinely entertaining posts did a lot worse and that makes me wonder, how is google watching DEV posts, and feeding them for google news feeds and why did it do so well and how can it/ can it even be replicated.
I suspect short posts actually do really well and I had a lot of key words like, JavaScript, tip, console.log and slow. All stuff that gets searched a lot 🤷♂️
I’m just happy to be here But this is fun to figure out, is there a secret sauce?

Was this the "console log" post? It probably got a lot of views because people clicked on it thinking, "someone is wrong on the Internet" :)
Hahaha if think that’s a fair assessment. So I guess click bait titles do work after all!
