I have wanted to start contributing to open source projects for a long time. So recently I pushed myself to do my first pull request.
To start with, I decided to start with something small. My contribution is about translating project documentation to Russian language. Not so much work, not difficult, but I am so proud of myself. I know that it is just a beginning )

That's an excellent start. Documentation is something that's often lacking on OS projects. I guarantee that more developers will use (and maybe chip in on) the project because they read your Russian documentation.
Thank you so much! It means a lot for me!
Thank you to committing to documentation. Often overlooked but needed work. :) Seriously... so many times I had to look at documentation for something.
I've also done some PRs on documentation too so thank fellow documentation person.
I do not feel I did something great, but I am so glad that it helped somehow to people) Glad to hear that you do contributions too!
Cool stuff @zhadyrassyn on getting your first PR merged! Documentation is important for projects and it's a great way to ease into a project.
If you're interested, here's a fun site to see what a person's 1st PR was. I remember trying to make a perfect first PR... it wasn't ;)
If you haven't read it yet, @jess has a great post for people new to open source.

Thank you! I am definitely gonna check out that link =)
Keep the momentum going! There are so many things people can do to contribute to open source projects beyond coding that are equally important!
Thank you so much! I will keep momentum going)
Great job, man! Congrats!
Thank you, Mike!
