I began and continue to code because I am insatiably curious and action oriented person. My curiosity lead me from AI (ML) to infrastructure, from massive Bayesian networks that knew all about the world to Google Maps to Access control to Internet of Things. My need for action and results allowed me to advance all those areas. They wouldn't be the same without my contributions and leadership!
My advice for allies to support women and non-binary folks who code is - just let us code and stop the ones who try to stand in our way
