Day29 of #100DaysOfCode

I spent an hour or so trying to figure out how to create sitemaps for nextjs app. I ended up using next-sitemap and made it work in the development branch.

I haven’t yet pushed it to the main branch because I’m not sure if Vercel will run the postbuild script automatically or not or I have to customize the build script manually in Vercel.

Another thing that complicates this is that I haven’t really merged dev branch to main branch before so I will need to study a bit more before I have the confidence to merge the branches 😂.

Tomorrow and the coming weekend will be quite busy for me as I’m flying to Laos for a business trip. (Shameless plug: We have over 110MWs of hydropower to be used in bitcoin mining. All licensed by the Laos government 🇱🇦)

Now you know why I’m creating this Hashing.energy website. It’s because I realized that in a small country like Laos there is an oversupply of hydropower (at least 1.2GW are issued for crypto mining). I want to be able to map out untapped energy and wasted energy around the world for my own personal use. (I have a friend who specializes in converting gas flare to Bitcoin mining. So after hydropower, I’ll probably focus on gas flare next)

Hopefully I can learn quickly and complete this hashing.energy website soon! 😍
