Turns out someone at the Wall Street Journal came across the post and had a few questions. You can read the article that resulted here!
The main point I tried bringing across is that while it may be true that getting ghosted sucks, it's important to remember that during the interview process it's not just the company that's interviewing you, you're interviewing the company!
If this is the way the company treats job candidates, you can be pretty sure that the way they treat their employees can use some improvement.
Think of the disappointment as the price you paid to find out that this company is not the place you wanted to work at.
Chin up! You didn't fail the interview, they did!
