It’s finally here – DOT and KSM are now integrated on Gitcoin!
Join the Polkadot Discord before you get started.
Gitcoin has integrated Polkadot and Kusama tokens (DOT and KSM) into its tech stack, making them one of the first full integrations outside of the Ethereum ecosystem.
Hello World! by Polkadot
To celebrate our integration on Gitcoin, we are organising Hello World! By Polkadot, a series of challenges to bring you on a journey of Polkadot development discovery. In addition to interesting ways to expand your skills and explore the Polkadot universe, we’ve got DOT, KSM and some pretty cool swag up for grabs.
There are bounties to appeal to all skill levels, starting with beginners. And if your heart beats faster when someone mentions Substrate, ink!, Javascript, or dApps, we’ve got a challenge for you, too!
Categories and Prizes
In total, there are 24 different challenges over four categories: 7 Beginner, 5 Intermediate, 4 Advanced and 8 Ecosystem. All come with extensive resources to guide you along the way.
All the challenges have been capped at maximum 50 submissions; so be in the first 50 valid submissions to get your payout. Prizes per challenge are as follows:
- Beginner - 3 DOT
- Intermediate - 1 KSM
- Advanced - 10 DOT
- Ecosystem challenge - 5 DOT
- And as the icing on the cake, we have an extra prize for the first 50 that manage to complete 18 or more challenges: 150 DOT!
Note: The maximum prize amount for those who complete all the challenges and receive the extra prize is 256 DOT and 3 KSM.
Swag and NFTs
Every participant that makes a valid submission to any challenge will receive Polkadot swag and a Kusama-based non-fungible token via the RMRK dapp. There is also an awesome array of Kudos that will get distributed with prizes.
