I don't understand why git should use ‘main’

I cannot understand why should use 'main' instead of 'master',It's just unbelievable!
why?
Can you ask god change the night from dark to white? Or we work at night and sleep in night?

Unbelievable that you might be called racist for using master branch name in git. And govs do nothing with racists' and neonazis' marches in European countries. Shame for today's world.
