Hello Geeks, I am a Laravel developer. I see that this community (dev.to community) is pretty big. I see a lot of amazing articles and discussions about javascript and python a lot with other tech stuff. But, I also want to see more articles about PHP and laravel. Any idea for that?
PHP programmers are too busy getting things done to write articles (joke!).
I think, in general, PHP is still undeservedly looked down on a bit. Python has a machine-learning boom going on for instance, so it's quite easy to write an eye-grabbing article about it, but it's not so easy to write an eye-grabbing PHP article about 'we got a functioning back-office reporting system done without much fuss' ;-)
I'm hoping to finish one I'm writing on fully integrating a Laravel codebase into a CI (gitlab) -> production docker swarm. I got a bit fed up reading articles that were either 'hello world' apps in docker or 'scaling to a billion nodes using Google cloud' - with nothing in between for regular people. I'm hoping it applies more widely to rails, django, express etc - just the example will be a PHP app - but the ideas & solutions are more broadly applicable.
Other than that - write an article or two yourself - what makes Laravel attractive, handy tips you've found, convenience of the framework etc :-)
Thanks for sharing your experience :) . Yeah I have been writing on my blog kodementor.com . But, as a member of Dev community, I just wanted to read new articles and participate in discussions here.
