Introduction:

 HTMX:

Yes, comming from a React (or any other framework) background HTMX might be counter intuitive, but you can achieve almost the same things.
If I am in charge of choosing the tech stack for a project, I would consider a frontend framework only if I need high user interactivity like drag and drop, a video player or a live chat room.
