Achieving 1K Followers on dev.to: My Journey to Success

Hello Guys! First of thank you to my followers, readers, viewers and also supporters for helping me to reach 1K followers and 23K+ views.

I'm sure you've heard of dev.to, the platform for developers to share their stories, thoughts, and opinions. As a developer, I'm sure you've already been a part of the dev.to community. I'm here to tell you about my journey to success on the platform, and the strategies I used to get 1K followers.

Introduction to dev.to

The dev.to community is a vibrant and growing community of developers and software enthusiasts. It boasts over 5 million members and is one of the largest and most active online coding communities. It allows developers to share their work, ask questions, and discuss topics related to software development.

The platform is also a great place to learn coding and software development. It has a plethora of tutorials, articles, and videos on various topics. It also has an active community of developers who are always willing to help and answer questions.

It was a simple blog with just about 4 lines.
Seeing back now, I was so excited to write my first blog ever on dev.to.
I had joined dev.to on 30th of June 2022

My Journey towards 1K followers

Even though I had no followers or not even views on my first blog and successive blog I did not stop writing blog .
Then I have started a series where I wrote about my projects or what I am developing. So that it can be reached by other fellow developers.
And then after about 4 blogs I got a breakthrough in my blog I had gotten 1000 views on that blog on the first day itself . It was very motivating and I was so happy.

Then after sometime blogs i got featured in Top 7 blogs of the week on dev.to. It was a great feeling to be featured in top 7 blogs of the week.

Any Share uses Firebase to store files. It uses Firebase Storage to store files and Firebase Realtime Database to store metadata of files.
When a file is uploaded, it is stored in Firebase Storage and a unique ID is generated for the file. This ID is used to access the file.
The metadata of the file is stored in Firebase Realtime Database. This metadata includes the url to the file and the unique ID of the file.
When a file is shared, the unique ID of the file is shared. This ID is used to access the file.

It was my on project and also it is used by 20+ users per day . I know it's not so much users but still on a website developed by just using HTML,CSS,JS . It is a great achievement for me .
