FYI, there is actually an API for articles etc for dev.to though it isn't really documented anywhere as far as I have seen. I found out about it from a comment Ben made on another post.
Self-taught developer and OSS enthusiast. I'm specialized in Front End development but I don't miss a chance to do JS anywhere, whether it's a browser, a mobile device, a server or a robot.

There are a few other endpoints too if you want to get articles for a specific person etc.
For a specific article, you can use this if you know the ID: dev.to/api/articles/88679
That can eliminate the scraping :)
