I think that clothes have to be comfortable and simple. But of course it depends on preferences of the person. I think that the best variant is a pair of jeans and a plain T-shirt. It will be comfortable and stylish
Ehmm, basically, any clothes?! I really don't think there is a standard for dressing a freaking developer. I know there is a stereotype that most of the developers and IT specialists are kind of "untidy" as they don't care how they look and what clothes they have on. Like, they don't care about brands and trends. They just wear something to cover their ass. Well, maybe that's true, but I don't think everyone is like that. My brother is also a developer, and mostly he likes a casual style. He orders all their clothes from atlas1.co as they have the most "trendy" clothes.
For such kind a job it isn’t so important which clothes to wear. But I agree that jeans and T-shirts are the most convenient one. My colleague told me that he has found a good brand Warehouse & Co which you can buy here - meadowweb.com/collections/warehous.... There are a huge collection of vintage items with imitating dying and weaving techniques. It can diversify you wardrobe a little bit
Wear anything you like and what makes you feel comfortable at work, as long as it follows the dress code if one exists. Yeah, usually developers wear baggy clothes, like t-shirts and sweatpants, but not everyone is like that. I have a colleague that looooves to dress fancy every day because that's her style. On the other hand, my other coworker prefers to wear jilbabs to work. So yeah, wear anything you want and don't worry about what other people think. It doesn't matter what you wear as long as you do your job well.
