What are the best blogging engines/frameworks for developers in 2020?

Now that I'm stuck home due to the corona virus, I want to pick up blogging again.

I'm curious what blogging engines/frameworks out there do you consider to be the best. Features like Markdown and syntax highlighting would be great but not mandatory.

In the past I used Ghost, WordPress, and I even built my own blogging engine. I don't want to spend a month creating a new one so I'm looking for a complete solution.

Which blogging platform do you prefer, and why?

I just moved my blog to GatsbyJS without any CMS (plain markdown files) and it is great! I'm a react developer though so it is very simply for me to develop additional features.

Anyway -as a dev - I love it.

Are Ghost and WordPress not complete solutions?

They absolutely are, but I'm curious to see what other people use and prefer

It sounds like you mean engine or framework rather than platform. Maybe it's just me, but to me 'platform' means a hosted community like dev.to whereas Wordpress would be called a framework or engine.

I've changed my post based on your recommendation. Indeed what I meant was engine or framework!
