I really enjoyed this Ricardo. I've been at a company for over two years that intentionally doesn't give anyone titles, which makes advocating for promotions / raises impossible. They also never give feedback or do any kind of code reviews, even with juniors. "If you’re not feeling challenged, or getting enough feedback, find a better school." I can't agree enough with this quote, which is why I just accepted an offer with a new company where I'm confident I can grow my career the way I want to.

Congrats on moving on Tony! And happy to see that you took control of your situation. Sometimes things take time and patience is definitely needed, but if you're not getting the support you need to rise - it's time to go. Hope things work out for you at your new company.

And thank you for reading the article, happy you enjoyed it. More coming :)
