Hi everyone! 🦋
My name is Nessa and I am currently in a coding bootcamp learning JavaScript, React, Ruby and Rails.
I have been super involved in the web 3 space over the last couple years and am really hoping to pursue a career in blockchain development as I harness more understanding of its fundamentals.
Outside of classes, I've been working on developing a crypto trading bot with Python, and hope that I can create a user friendly experience for anyone else who might try to use it and customize its parameters and indicators.
Within the last year or so, I have also been learning sound design and production, and am hoping to integrate my coding practices with the way I create music as I explore and experiment more with live coding music synths.
I am looking forward to the future, and I can't wait to connect and get to know those of you out there who might have been so inclined to read this.

I'm a bit of an antique when it comes to IT, having cut my teeth on IBM mid-range systems in the 90's. In what seems like a lifetime ago I've worked in Luxembourg and New York, but am now back home in Ireland, more or less retired.
Out of curiosity and just for a challenge I'm pursuing a full-stack developer course, and the current module is Python/Django. But of course the Javascript/HTML/CSS is never far away from web apps. I'm having fun, and doing plenty of learning :-)
