Install Gitlab Runner on Ubuntu

Run:

curl -L "https://packages.gitlab.com/install/repositories/runner/gitlab-runner/script.deb.sh" | sudo bash
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode

Then

sudo apt-get install gitlab-runner
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode

Check the version:

gitlab-runner -v
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode

Usefull commands:

Restart 

sudo gitlab-runner restart
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode

Run queued jobs 

sudo gitlab-runner run
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode

Verify and delete runners 

sudo gitlab-runner verify --delete
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode

To run jobs concurrently, update the following 

sudo nano /etc/gitlab-runner/config.toml
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode

and update the desired value

concurrent = 5
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode
