You are not the first, and will not be the last, to experience this. TIME is your best tool.

Everything we do in software development is documented, from your version control history to your unit test reports. Time will highlight issues with quality as the product evolves and more QA activities are undertaken.

Focus on yourself, be the best you can. Be technically proficient in the tools you use and your product. Do your testing so you create quality/ robust code, do these things and people will see your value.

Don't throw person A under the bus, however much you may want to.

Its your product, voice your concerns but show humility. If you notice problems, have the solutions. Overtime people value this more than an ego than can not deliver.
