Introducing "Making Sense Of IT Podcast"

For the past few months, I have been punting on doing this actually. In my 14+ years of my software development career, I have hit various brick walls where my voice, expertise and advice were either being heard but ignored to disastrous outcomes. This led me to a journey of discovery, to understand whether I really do have a voice and if my voice really mattered. I have been debating with myself on whether I should blog about various topics on subject matters that I've acquired over the years or create a podcast and make it an educational platform that people could easily obtain at their leisure of their cellphone. After few research, I have decided that a podcast is the way to go.

So, let me introduce you to "Making Sense of IT Podcast", a Podcast where I talk about subject matters that we don't really talk about but are crucial to our lives and careers.

I will tackle on topics such as (things people ask me about):

  • Money (salary negotiations, investing, etc)
  • Should I start a business?
  • Body shoppers, aka recruiters....be careful of them
  • Is there such a thing as a work-life balance?
  • Micromanagement
  • Procrastination, and why you should embrace it.

To name but a few. If you have any interesting, educational topics that you want us to look into and discuss, hit me up!
