Nevertheless, Paula Coded

Once again, another year round, I'd like to participate in this thread! Let's do this.

Equality in tech looks like…

Better and friendlier each year. There's a lot to achieve, yet. But I feel happier about how tech industry approach to equality and I hope it goes better in the future. Specifically in my field there are tons of awesome women to look up to, in fact the trans community in cybersecurity is usually awesome as well which makes me veeery happy.

I’m an expert at…

Offensive security, aka "redteam". Most of my programming skills are scripting related, and my expertise is more about breaking things rather than building them. I love to mix maths with security. Feel free to ask about it anytime!

I have the great luck to work alongside awesome women in my field and to have friends and family who share my passion with me regardless my gender and I just hope every woman or non binary person who works in tech (and in anything) have the same luck as me.

My advice for allies to support self-identifying women and non-binary folks who code is...

Support our work. Learn from it, ask about it, build with it. There's nothing more awesome than seeing others enjoy and appreciate our work.
