昨今のWebサイトは、表示した後にもそのまま表示し続けると一定間隔でJavascriptが動き、データを更新するタイプのものを散見します。Twitter等のSNSサイトに多く見られるものですが、これはブラウザを重くしてしまい、ユーザビリティが良いとはとても言える状態ではありません。
現在、Webサイトにおいては以前とかなり変わってきてるところがあり、Webサイトといってもほぼアプリケーションソフトウェアのような挙動をするものも増えてきています。
