We at Syncfusion are working on the third major release of 2022. Packed with cool and exciting features, we expect to release 2022 Volume 3 in the last week of September.

Syncfusion offers the largest collection of controls for Xamarin.Forms, featuring the popular Charts and DataGrid controls and unique file-format libraries for working with Excel, Word, PDF, and PowerPoint files.

Let’s look at some new features we plan to make available for the Xamarin.Forms platform in the 2022 Volume 3 release.

PDF Viewer

The Xamarin.Forms PDF Viewer will gain the following features.

Sticky notes

This feature will allow users to add, remove, and modify sticky notes (pop-up annotations) in PDF documents both using the user interface and programmatically. These annotations will be useful if you want to add comments to the document and not have them displayed until needed.

This enhancement allows you to render at the appropriate location and size inside the stamp annotation bounds.

Avatar View

The Avatar View will support the following image aspects:

  • AspectFill
  • AspectFit
  • Fill

Numeric Updown

The Numeric UpDown will gain a value-changing event, which will be triggered whenever the value of the control changes.

Conclusion

Thanks for reading about these highlights! There will be other new features and bug fixes in our Syncfusion Xamarin.Forms Suite for the 2022 Volume 3 release. You can check them out once the release is launched. It will not be long!
