Is it essential to integrate Vite with Tailwind ?

I'm developing a simple Facebook clone with PHP Laravel, Tailwind, and JavaScript. I'm wondering if I should use Vite with Tailwind. I know Vite can speed up the app development and deployment, but I'm also worried about possible compatibility and configuration problems.
