Vue's preferred state management library is now Pinia, not Vuex. Vue 3 comes with two design constructs. The Options API which was carried across from Vue 2 and the Composition API introduced in Vue 3 and back-ported to Vue 2. The Options API is simple to learn but can produce 'messy' code in large projects because functionality is grouped by function type. Composition API is much more complex (and looks more like React IMHO) but allows granular control and can group functionality by application context rather than function type.
If you need to write cross platform apps, Vue also has a meta-framwork called Quasar which can generate an electron app(windows,Mac,Linux) and Android SDK and iOS app from a single codebase.
