Last week, I attended the SEC-T security/hacking conference in Stockholm, Sweden. It was a two-day single track conference, and my first time attending a security conference. I had a great time!
Security conferences can be a great way to learn about the latest threats and trends in the industry, network with other professionals, and attend talks by experts in their field.
All the talks (almost) from the conference have already been uploaded to YouTube and can be found here: SEC-T 2023
My top three talks were:
- Rami McCarthy - Beyond the Baseline: Horizons for Cloud Security Programs
- Julia Zdunczyk - How to Break into Organizations with Style
- Fredrik Sandström - Take all my money - penetrating ATMs
I highly recommend checking out these talks if you're interested in learning more about cloud security, social engineering, or ATM hacking.
Overall, I had a great time at the SEC-T conference. It was a well-organized event with a great lineup of speakers. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about security.
