Written communication is part of life. Without it, modern civilisations would have ceased to exist. Leading to another dark age. Where we are unable to pass on our knowledge, insights, perspective, mental model, history. To learn and draw from it, that shapes our thinking, perception or mindset.
As a developer, I am sure you might have encountered problems in differences in opinions on technical specifications that are vague. Which leads to tons of work to decipher for yourself or your team.
As an entrepreneur, you convey through writing to convince, persuade, arouse and motivate your employees or customers to action. If done correctly, your employees or customers will stand by you. But if you did wrongly, backlash ensures because you instil fear. Which leads to public outcry against injustices that you do to your employees or customers of what written by you.
Therefore learning to write well and effectively. Plays a huge part for you as a developer or as an entrepreneur. So this is my list of books that will help you on your journey as an effective communicator.
