What methodology does Amazon use?

I've heard that Amazon doesn't use Agile methodology, is it right? Please, share your thoughts !

Hey, this is false. I'm working for Ring (a company acquired by Amazon in 2018) and we are applying the Amazon standards/methodology to our projects, let me explain to you how it is.

You can use whatever you want, but the golden rule is that you can try it if that doesn't work throw it away so, you can use scrum/waterfall / Xtreme programming or similar, but if that doesn't work the team should look for a solution, changing the methodology or fixing the way that they are using it. The same applies to the tech stack.

Not all the teams are using agile. For instance, my team is using Scrum, sprint length 2 weeks; but another team that my PM is managing is not using any methodology (at this moment) because they are creating hardware prototypes although they have goals is much easier for them don't spend time using scrum.
