I just got an email that says now I'm a trusted member of the DEV.to, hooray!
What is trusted member?
After a brief research and reading the guide, it essentially grants the user the permission to moderate the content and posts on DEV.to
So basically you get these new permissions:
- Access to mod center
- Rank content quality
- Rate post's experience/proficiency levels
- Flag/report posts for spam or content that violates code of conduct
How do one get it?
The guide I've added below contains the answer to this but in essence, these are the crucial key points from it:
- Be kind, always
- Be helpful
- Give back to the community: share your experiences, do open-source etc.
