Anyone here have experience with influxdb and end up using graphite and Prometheus with grafana (as they offer that as a service now)?
Looks like grafana cloud includes both of those stacka so curious about flexibility they offer in comparison to influxdb cloud.
I do like being able to backfill data so Prometheus doesn't do that natively tmk. Completely unfamiliar with Graphite

Simple answer... Influx DB provides graphing alerting and a Time series database. Grafana provides visualization and some Prometheus integration but still requires you to have Prometheus to forward to their Prometheus integration.
InfluxDB is my preference for metrics and the cloud offering is a nice quick start without having to manage
