Dear DEV Community Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
As a dedicated content creator, I'm passionate about sharing technical insights and contributing to the developer community. I’ve been actively posting on DEV.to, but I have a few concerns and questions that I hope you could help clarify.
Firstly, I’d love to understand what makes DEV.to a valuable platform for creators like me. Is investing time and effort into creating content here truly worthwhile? What advantages does DEV.to offer in terms of reach, engagement, and building a meaningful follower base compared to other platforms?
One specific aspect that puzzles me is the follower count. While I have more than 5,000 followers, I’ve noticed that my view count on recent posts hasn’t exceeded 25. This has raised some questions in my mind:
- Are all my followers genuine users, or could some be bots?
- Why isn’t there more noticeable growth in views when I have a substantial follower base?
- How does the notification system work? Are my followers being notified about my new posts?
I genuinely appreciate the work that DEV.to does for the developer community, and I want to ensure that I’m making the most of the platform. Any insights you can provide would be incredibly helpful in guiding my content strategy moving forward.
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Shanu Raw (@shanu001x)
