My non-technical podcast choices are:

  • The Vergecast: Take a look at what's going on in the world of consumer electronics!
  • Radiolab: Just a variety of interesting stories that I typically can't find in the news.
  • Reply All: A new recommendation, haven't had a chance to dig into it yet. Looks interesting so far from the website!

  1. Reply All, this was one stated in an earlier comment. It's fun, quirky, and informative.

  2. TWiT - This Week in Tech - Top Tech journalists talk about the stories in tech throughout the week. Hosted by Leo Laporte

  3. My Dad Wrote a Porno [NSFW] - 3 Friends, one whose Dad wrote an erotic novel, read a chapter per week and critique it. Super Funny but not for everyone.

  4. Note to Self - The intersection of humanity and technology - reflects on aspects of technology such as addiction, privacy, etc.

  5. Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me - A fun and hilarious weekly news, radio game show.

"Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" is my weekly guilty pleasure. All my other podcasts I listen to at 1.8x, but for "Wait, Wait..." I slow down to 1.5x

Welcome to Night Vale: fictional community radio show for a desert town where weird things happen.

My Brother, My Brother And Me: a hilarious "advice" show. Three brothers "help" people who write in questions from Yahoo! Answers

Limited Resources: a niche podcast for nuts-and-bolts Spikes looking to improve at Magic: the Gathering draft and sealed (If you know that those words mean, then it's for you).

S-Town: just started listening to this. It's in the same vein as Serial.

(shameless plug) Feminist Nerds: a podcast made by my SO and her friend discussing comics and other nerdy interests from an intersectional feminist perspective. I've been a guest on a few episodes.
