Serverspace added the new version of Debian. “Bookworm” (Debian 12) is already available in the control panel.

We have added the Debian 12 "Bookworm" distribution to the control panel. Now, Serverspace users can create cloud servers with the new OS version based on one of the two virtualization platforms: vStack or VMware.

Debian continues the tradition of naming new versions of their OS as characters from the "Toy Story" film series. The 12th version, "Bookworm" is a secondary character in "Toy Story 3".

Debian 12 was released on June 10, 2023, and brought many changes. In the new version, more than 9,500 outdated packages were removed, which contributes to more efficient system operation.
