It's kind of a ridiculous thing for rails to include. It seems very very specific.
Well, you know the old saying, "Rails is a great framework as long as what you're building is mostly like Basecamp". Don't get me wrong, I like Rails, I've been using it since the first public version was released in late 2005, but some developments don't make much sense to me and in many of my recent projects I either had to work around them or just completely ignore parts of Rails and work with custom solutions ¯\(ツ)/¯
