I have been coding for >30 years but it's never been the main part of the work that I do, so Iām still on moderately proficient.
I mainly work at the intersection of code and infrastructure.

These days I mostly program in R (all the non-stats bits) and python (for pipeline and embedded stuff). and I write a lot of glue in bash and config in yaml. I also occasionally dabble in other stuff like JavaScript and Go.
